núi của một quốc gia cuối cùng lên tiếng, những cơ chế được thành lập sẻ phản ảnh phong tục tập quán có thể rất khác biệt với chúng ta. Hoa Kỳ sẽ
không áp đặt cơ chế chính quyền của mình cho những người không muốn nó".

phải để cho BS Quế được hoàn toàn tự do mà không bị đe dọa, sách nhiễu gi` ...
Hiện nay BS Quế bị CSVN theo dõi rất gắt gao sau khi cho Wall Street Journal và đài VOA phỏng vấn.

Dear President Luong:
It was certainly very good news that your government decided to release Dr. Nguyen Dan Que as part of a general amnesty allowing thousands of prisoners to return
home prior to Tet, the Lunar New Year.
Dr. Que could have left Vietnam in 1975 and on several subsequent occasions, but he did not. He chose to remain in Saigon to serve the people of Vietnam
professionally as a physician and patriotically as a non-violent advocate of democratic progress.
Over the past 30 years of his life, Dr. Que has won the admiration of countless people, Vietnamese and non-Vietnamese, in the United States and on very continent for
his non-violent struggle for freedom and human rights in Vietnam. His ideas and efforts from a realistic road to peace, prosperity and dignity not only for Vietnam but
also for the whole region.
Now that he is back home with his family, we strongly believe that Dr. Que should be able to live as a free citizen of Vietnam, without enduring close surveillance,
harassment, and other restrictions that conflict with Vietnam's own laws international obligations.
Many millions are wondering and watching, Mr. President. Be assured that we in the AFL-CIO are among them.

For 3 decades, Dr Que a well known 62 year old Vietnamese physician in Saigon (now
Hochiminh city) represents the best hope for a peaceful transition from the current
communist tyrannical dictatorship into a truly democratic free society, in line with the
worldwide 21st century modern global development. His repeated appeals for reforms in the
human rights, including the rights for a free press, are considered the cornerstones for any
true meaningful progress in the economic development for Viet Nam, which will ultimately
benefit every single person in the 82 millions people of his country.
Permanent member of Amnesty International and recognized by many Human Rights
Organisations in the free world (i.e the 1993 Raoul Wallenberg Prize, the 1995 Robert
Kennedy Prize, the 2003 Hellman-Hammett prestigious prize for persecuted writers, the 2004
New York Sciences Academy Heinz-Pagels Prize and the Northcote-Parkinson Prize for
courageous civil rights fighters). "The 2004 Human Rights Net Work Prize" as well as
repeated nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize, Dr Que has spent more than twenty years
in solitary prisons for his non wawering, non violent fight for his country freedom. Liberated
last February 2005, his is now under constant surveillance and harassement by the political
police agents.

THỨ NHẤT : Đòi chính quyền Việt Nam chấm dứt nhiễu sóng các đài phát thanh VOA, RFA tiếng Việt - nghĩa là phài để cho làn sóng thông tin
được tự do loan truyền vào Việt Nam.
THỨ HAI : Phải có tự do báo chí - các đài truyền thanh truyền hình cũng phải được các nhà hoạt động xử dụng để nói lên quan điểm của
mình.
THỨ BA : Phải thả hết tù chánh trị và tôn giáo, phải để Hội Hồng Thập Tự Quốc Tế giám sát tòan bộ các nhà tù ở Việt Nam.
THỨ TƯ : Chính quyền Việt Nam phải tuân thủ hoàn toàn những tôn chỉ và nguyên tắc của LHQ về tự do tôn giáo, phải đối xử công bằng đối
với tất cả mọi tôn giáo.
THỨ NĂM : Phải hủy bỏ điều 4 hiến pháp nhằm tự cho phép Đảng CSVN độc quyền lãnh đạo đất nước, phải hủy bỏ ngay chỉ thị 31/CP nhằm
cho phép công an giam giữ người bất đồng chính kiến 6 tháng đến 2 năm mà không xét xữ. Sau khi đạt được những kết quả cụ thể về những
điểm nêu trên thì dân tộc chúng ta, chúng tôi sẽ đòi hỏi phải tiến hành dân chủ hóa bằng những bước tiếp theo.
